It’s awesome to re-watch some of the epic skits, look back on the history and see the creative—yeah, I said creative—process behind the show. The Jackass guys are smart! The Jackass guys are good! Of course, an app about them would be good.

On the auspicious 10th anniversary of jackass, Dickhouse Productions released a deluxe hardbound photo book to celebrate and commemorate this iconic crew for lasting so long in the “here-today-gone-tomorrow” world of entertainment pop culture. The book not only spans the 10 years of jackass, but will also include the Big Brother magazine days that came before and ultimately gave birth to the franchise on MTV, as well as a few of the other entertainment projects between, i.e. Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, and Nitro Circus.

ROGUE PAPER brought it to the iPad with mini-games, behind-the-scenes video, and a trip down memory lane from the early years of Big Brother magazine to the late years in never-before seen (read: too controversial for television) videos.

CHARGING BULL

An accelerometer-based motion game with a steep slope leveling mechanism. Players use motion to try to hit inelegant hanging string puppets of Knoxville, Steve-O, and Bam. The bull charges the cast and sends them flying into the air. With each subsequent attack, the players move farther apart and the bull slows. Watch Cowboy Steve-O get gored by the bull over and over again.

KNOXVILLE SLINGSHOT

A classic slingshot game using Johnny Knoxville, a skateboard, a target and a dirty pigeon. Players modulate force and angle to catapult Johnny Knoxville through suspended rings, aiming for a circus target. It takes a steady hand to accurately heave Knoxville in the air. Watch out for those pigeons!
